Do We Really Need A Sequel to F.R.I.E.N.D.S?

Although the most devastating news that the friends cast has refused to do a sequel, has already fallen on yours ears, we’re here today to analyze the question: Do we really need a sequel to F.R.I.E.N.D.S? If you’re holding on to a tiny sliver of hope that this article’s going to be in favour of a reboot, you might want to let go of it. Well, here’s why:

We all know that F.R.I.E.N.D.S depicted a certain period in a person’s life when they’re nervous, confused, starting out a new life without their parents’ support and not looking positively (Extremely negatively, in Chandler’s case) towards the prospect of marriage, right? To be very honest, this is one of the major reasons why teenagers and young adults related to the show so much. If you’re looking for a quick recap, you might want to check out Sites Like Putlocker. Now, if a sequel to the show is to be made, the storyline would definitely change. The characters would have grown old and life wouldn’t be as fun anymore.

To quote Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), “Put bluntly, I don’t think anybody wants to see an old Joey having a colonoscopy. Fine when he was drinking coffee in Central Park, or auditioning for a job. Not so much fun if he’s undergoing a medical procedure. We were a lot younger then and I think that’s how the characters should say.”

Another reason why a reboot isn’t a very good idea after all, is that, put simply, it might not be good enough. We’ve all seen each and every episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S numerous times and we laugh each time we see it. Many stream the show even today on Sites Like Putlocker. That’s how great the show is! If a sequel is to be made, it might have the same characters but a different setting, script and director. If the sequel doesn’t turn out to be as good as the original serious (and there’s a pretty good chance of that happening), it will ruin our memory of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. We don’t want that now, do we?

After all’s said and done, we think it’s time for us to make peace with the idea, no matter how hard it would be for us, that we will not get a sequel to F.R.I.E.N.D.S and maybe this isn’t such a bad thing after all.
