THE MAKER FAIRE, NEWCASTLE

We're playing Sunday afternoon in the Life Theatre, part of the Centre For Life building which is right next to Newcastle station. This venue only holds 65 people so don't be late! More details can be found on their website: here  

APRIL 4TH, 2010

ODYSSEY 2010

RADISSON EDWARDIAN HOTEL, 140 BATH ROAD, HEATHROW, UB3 5AW

Formerly known as Eastercon, this is the 61st British National Science Fiction Convention. This year conveniently sited in a swanky Heathrow hotel - perfect for international (and even National), visitors - Sunday night features a Steampunk ball, with Ghostfire as guests of honour. This gig/event is unrelated to the Whitby Gothic Weekend which is taking place in the same small town in Yorkshire over the same weekend (23rd - 25th April). The Rifle Club will become "Steampunk Central" for this one weekend in April; but anybody of a gothic persuasion who happens to find themselves in Whitby on Saturday April 24th is more than welcome. Tickets cost a fiver, the venue is only 150 capacity, so a sold-out, packed and sweaty gig is guaranteed. Hurrah!!

BRIGHTON FRINGE FESTIVAL

A Steampunk evening of merriment with Trousseaux and The Peryls accompanying us. As this is a bank holiday weekend and also The Fringe,  Brighton will be rammed and the event will very likely sell out. Get in early to avoid disappointment.

Fresh from our triumph at the 2009 event, where we got an entire ballroom up and waltzing, Ghostfire will be appearing prominently at this year's event - justifying our status as the UK's Premier Steampunk Band! 2010 promises to be bigger and better than ever; this thing is going to grow and grow!
